August brings out the playfulness in me. I can see this is reflected in my smoothies. They become lighter, brighter and almost cocktail like! Raspberries are rich in vitamins, antioxidants and fiber. The addition of lime juice (reminds me of tequila!), adds a little acidity and vitamin C and the yoghurt provides protein and gives it that creamy consistency.
Serves 2
150g natural yoghurt
10ml lime juice
100g frozen or fresh raspberries
400ml of water or coconut water
- Pop everything in a blender and whizz
- Top with a sprinkle of flaxseeds and a slice of lime
